Photo Hunt - Long

I don't have any photos of anything long in my collection, so here is what I long for: Peaceful places and solitude...
The first photo is taken from the Kilawea Lighthouse in Kauai. This little island is covered with nesting birds.

The second photo is of my cousin's "nest" in the mountains. With the winter storm covering most of California, I imagine it's covered in white by now. It's such a lovely, quiet place to nest...

Thanks for the beautiful comment left on my post... Only a mothers heart would understand the loss of a child even though that child is still alive..... I too hold my son accountable for the past 22 years... Two years ago he did come to me and tell me that all of these years were because of her... That it was just easier to coward down and let her have her way. Then just a few short months latter it all comes back to me with books from Amazon sent under brown cover...... Mercy...... I too am Christian and I too believe that God has all this in His hands.. He knows all too well the heartache of the loss of someone precious....... I will pray for your son......... I will pray that the Holy Spirit, the comforter will hover over him like a hen over her chicks...... That the Father will reveal himself to your son......... and open his eyes to the goodness of God.........

Blessings to you this Christmas time.................

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.

Gracie,

Thanks for expressing a longing to be in my "nest"...which, incidentally, seems an "emptier nest" without your sweet presence!

You are right...covered at this moment with about 8 inches of snow..cold, but absolutely gorgeous. Hoping next time you come, there will be some "white stuff" especially for you ~
