Looking at the Sky on Friday
I took this from the car as my daughter was driving through the Oklahoma countryside. It was hot and the clouds were banked up in the sky.

Don't you love it when a drive-by shooting turns out so well?
Funny how there's also black clouds lol.
Much Love,
What a beautiful sky over a beautiful stretch of the midwest. Great capture.
Tabbikat's Thoughts
The heat and humidity in the Midwest makes for great sky watching. The morning is quite humid, the noon is quite hot and watch the tops of the clouds rise to 40000-50000 feet. Then the cold air hits this and the pleasant blue turns top a mean gray...Your picture, however, is the more pleasant part of this scenario!
Nice mixture of clouds and greenery!
very niced gracie
Gracie, you get the best pictures whizzing by in an automobile! :) Thanks for visiting my post!
very peaceful--love the colors of the sky
Hi Grace, don't you just love taking those 'drive-by' photos! I have tried to learn how to lead (really lag, but lead it is a shooter's term) the scene a little to cut out the blurring of nearby objects.
I do hope you came one down to Texas with your daughter, you probably didn't get as far as the Houston area. :-)
..
I love these fluffy clouds !
Did you say hot? I want some warm since I'm so tired of winter. Warm please.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)
Hmm, was there a storm moving in at the same time? I've seen skies like that in Oklahoma that ended up turning black as pitch and covering you with rain in just a moment's notice!
I love the dark green against the light blue
I love a good cloud pile-up. We get them here in Florida frequently throughout the summer months - huge, towering masses of clouds. They impress the heck out of me!
