Looking at the Sky on Friday
This was taken last August. I need to get out my cloud book and
find out what type of clouds these are - cirrius? I can't
remember any more. It's unusual having a blue sky like this
during the summers here. Our atmosphere is usually brown!

Some folks have gorgeous sky shots for you
to enjoy. And Tish would love for you to
drop by and say "hi!" She's done so much
for this "Friday Sky" and it's taking off like
crazy! (No pun intended...)

very nice gracie
Unless it's monsoon, we don't usually get clouds at all in the summer.
I like the "texture" of this photo.
Don't you have any clouds this year ? lol !
That is indeed unusual in the central part of this state. Awesome Gracie.
Have a terrific day and weekend honey. Big hug. :)
Perhaps you get such skies when the winds blow strong off the Pacific. I can't tell you what kind they are, but the character they impart!
I agree, Tisha has done wonders for Fridays! And those are neat puffy clouds in your skies. Hope you have a great weekend.
Happy Friday,

March winds on the Sanibel Island Causeway
the patterns and texture are stunning, great photo!
Oh, they do look like August - hot, a little humid perhaps, and fierce sun.
Thanks for the kind words, Gracie. You're the best! :)
I love those clouds. This is such a crisp shot. Very nicely done.
Sorry to be visiting so late, but I've been ill and haven't done much of anything for a week or so. I'm doing what I can to catch up today. This is a fascinating sky ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
How pathetic is it that it's late on Monday and I'm finally getting around to your Friday sky post? Geez, I need to get organized!
These clouds look great and you can definitely tell that they're summer clouds just from the looks of 'em. I do so love cloud pictures, too!
i have never seen clouds like that before. they are pretty cool
