Spring!

Spring is here!  I love this time of year, when ol' man winter is still
lingering in the air, not yet ready to yield to the warmer days ahead.
This was taken from the cemetery, about a mile from our house
It has a wonderful sweeping view of the valley.

I'm not certain what type of tree this is - my guess is it's a flowering plum.
I love the way the little blooms look like butterflies dangling at the end
of fairy wands.  Oooh, am I waxing poetic?

Have a wonderful week, my friends!

Those photos do make me want for Spring. We had a beautiful day yesterday -- up in the 80s... mother nature is such a tease!

Yes spring is here and I'm very happy about that. This has been a very long and cold winter.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

Oh these are soo gorgeous and you penned the loveliest words!! I've been seeing many different types of blossoms here and there in many posts..they do look different and what mellow soothing colors. I'm not surprised you caught this in a cemetery!! I always find them strangely intriguing. Well, hope you are doing fine..wishing you a wonderful week my friend~

The view from your cemetery is so much prettier than the view from my cemetery!

Of course, we have yet to have spring arrive as Old Man Winter continues to hang around and hold us in his grip. Darn the man, he needs to let go, we've had enough this year!

Gorgeous blooms!
