13 Things I Learned In Oklahoma

1. It's humid.

2. It's beautiful!

3. There are more restaurants than I've ever seen in one town and a Sonic on every corner.

4. The corn is as high as an elephant's eye!

5. The people are 100% nicer than in L.A. and I told the airline guy that. He smiled.

6. The servers in all of the restaurants we visited were absolutely friendlier than
in California! Should that surprise anyone?

7. The moon looks much larger - and it was full.

8. Don't ever drive on the freeway (turnpike) when buckets of rain, literally, are pouring off of
the freeway overpasses and your vehicle is making a wake!

9. Running down the street in a lightning storm is fun (and scary!).

10. Oklahoma soil is red.

11. Visiting the Oklahoma bombing memorial is heartbreaking and uplifting all at once.

12. Bricktown is awesome!

13. I will definitely return...Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise.
