Checking In...

Oh, my achin' Guard yourself from attack of aching back!!!!
Four out of five Americans will suffer from lower back pain sometime in their lives. It is estimated that 80 percent of all lower back pain is caused by tight muscles in the lower back, tight hamstrings, weak abdominal muscles, improper posture and structural abnormalities.
This is how things are looking at the moment!!!!
To keep or not to keep, that is the question! And, why in the world did I keep that piece of (&#%$ from nine years ago!!! I have boxes I never unpacked from the last move! D'OH!
It's mass confusion and chaos right now. I want to find a hole and climb into it. Why do I have the pack rat gene??? I will never collect anything ever again, for the rest of my life! And books? I could start a library in a third world country! ARGH!!!
It's going to take the rest of the week just to get ready for the garage sale we're having Friday and Saturday! Good grief! I never realized how much crap one could pack into a single garage!
With my back in such shape, my poor daughter is having to do a lot of the work (guilt trip, guilt trip!). I'm getting too old for this stuff.
So, I promise I'll check in when I can! Thanks for the notes over the weekend. I don't know what I'd do without all of you!!! {{{Cyber hugs}}}

Hi Gracie. Sorry to hear about your back aches. I hope with good rest the pain will go away soon.

I'm a pack rat myself. I love keeping things. Good thing my husband has good sense to go through some of them and he throws away most of the junk that I would otherwise keep. haha!

Good luck with the garage sale.

Oh the lower back pain. I just had a round of ugly that lasted over a month. It still hurts but I'm getting better. Oh I can relate.

I'm with Claire...where are the kids? Let them tote this stuff.

Okay, I'm a pack rat too. We have two huge bookcases full of books and then there are stacks here and there. Can I help with the library in the 3rd world country of your chosing? We are with you all the way Gracie ♥

Good luck with the move. i absolutely despise it and can sympathize with your bewilderment as to why you have kept certain items. :>) Talk to you later!

Awwww. Hang in there darlin. You'll get through it.

I'm still dealing with some of that back pain, but it is getting better. Although there are still boxes to unpack!

Hope the clear-out is going well. Try not to get too distracted reading/aahing over everything!

It's so hard to part with some memories.

That's what I hate about moving - the packing and sorting. I swore I would no longer be a pack rat, but after seven years in this house, I'm back to the old ways. No way I'm moving, though; not if I can help it!

It's amazing how much stuff a person can accumulate over their life. Our basement is still full of my old baby toys! My mother can't stand to part with it all...
