Photo Hunt - Practical

Little Dogs

BIG DOG
Being one of the most impractical people on the planet, this week was difficult for me!
Looking through my photos, I decided that one of the practical things I have done
was to realize that little dogs were better for our lifestyle than big dogs
(read - sedentary!).
When we adopted Katie and Zoe, we both worked - that's why we got them at the
same time, so they would have company during the day. We were tired when we
got home and didn't want the responsibility of exercising a big dog, and in my case,
the strength! Otis was our grand dog and he wanted to pull a sled. He was hard
for me to hang on to!
It was a good decision. We've all been together for almost nine years and they've
been excellent fur babies. It was a very practical solution for us!

Great choice! It is great that you got two...that is very practical. They can play with one another and wear each other out! When our Lab was about 5, we got another dog to keep her company as well. We currently have a Rhodesian Ridgeback (135 lbs) and Lab mix (85 lbs). We don't have little dogs ;)

We short-haired dog, an Am PitBull. This is more practical for us than hairy dogs so we can prevent those sniffles and asthma from hair balls. But then smaller dogs are cuter! :)

have a great weekend :)

You have adorable pets. Yes, having smaller dogs is a practical choice.

I used to have a small dog, Miko but he passed away already. I sometimes feel that Bruno, our Lab feels lonely because he doesn't have a dog friend anymore. I'm sure he misses Miko as much as I do.

Thank you Gracie for the heartwarming words you left at KK's site to help me in my domain name wish.

I laughed at your last line. I think anyone will grab that chance to have you as a campaign manager. :)

Hi Gracie, the doggies are really cute looking...

I'm not at all sure why but your page has been taking AGES to load every time I've tried lately... I haven't a clue what could be causing this...
What I CAN say is that I'm told that when it happens with me I've got too many youtube screens up on my main blog... so I just reduce it to 2 or 3...
I know you haven't got screens though!!
