Thursday Thirteen - When to Quit the Road

Ten Signs You May, or May Not, Be Losing It!

10. You find yourself changing signal light bulbs once a week.

9. You are the focus of a neighborhood driving watch.

8. You are often followed by the emergency-personnel paparazzi.

7. You have relatives lining up to take out life insurance on you.

6. You recently got angry at someone who cut you off and gave them the thumb.

5. You own prescription night-vision goggles for driving after dark.

4. You are often tailgated by women pushing strollers.

3. You routinely take up three parking spaces at the mall.

2. You are thinking about replacing your Lincoln Town Car with something bigger.

1. You often pull into gas stations and sit there, waiting for the attendant to come out
and fill the tank, check the oil and wash the windshield.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I read this and laughed my head off! Then, it hit me. Do I do any of these things? No, but
hubman does!!!
1. Put him in a parking lot looking for a place to park and he turns into Mr. Magoo.
2. He pulls out in front of people who are coming up pretty quick. His response to my
shaky, heart-pounding voice? Well, they were coming too fast. Uh.....
3. His passive-agressiveness rears it's ugly head the minute the wheels hit the on-ramp
of any freeway - whether or not it's crowded!
Oh, about my driving skills? They are still as good as they were ten years ago! Yep, that
lead foot still works.
Thursday Thirteen - Check it out...
Gracie,
Too funny!
But how about this one -
Stopping for a stop sign and then getting irritated after a minute or so because it hasn't turned green yet?
For 16 yrs, my xhusband never would let me drive if we went anywhere together. I didn't complain - I'd rather that he drive than have to replace the floorboard because he was *stomping on the breaks*.
Men are hilarious when it comes to driving.
En route to New York City yesterday I felt a few twinges of road rage myself but that's probably because people have truly become ruder drivers over the years than what I remember them being when I first started driving a very, very long time ago!
In spite of all that, I did enjoy the drive and even managed to take a few pictures along the way without crashing the car in the process! Quite the trick when you're doing at least 65 mph!
