Furry Girls
Katie and Zoe - back from the groomers. It's after midnigh,t and they're driving me nuts. It's cold outside and rainy. They just came in for the last time tonight so they're all fired up and want to play. I don't.
I appreciate all of the concern you have shown our family in regards to our daughter-in-law's condition. She is making slow, steady progress, with this week bringing her closer to recovery than she's been before. She still has some neurological difficulties but the doctors seem to think that the brain lesions will heal on their own.
Please forgive me for being a "non-blogster" these past few weeks. There are so many of you that I enjoy visiting and I'm being a horrible dud. Just know it's nothing personal, I just don't have a lot to say that doesn't seem depressing and gloomy. I really don't want to spread that around the blogs!
I'll try to pop in and out as the season progresses. Have fun as you endure shopping lines, baking cookies, and decorating - all the things that make the season so bright!

You have to admit they look adorable, pesky though they may be!
Don't worry about being a horrible blogster lately - I've been suffering from the same affliction but it's more time-related than anything else. Sometimes we just need to step back for a bit and go at when we feel up to it. Blogging isn't supposed to be a chore and your friends will still be here whether you post or visit or not.
Hang in there, Gracie - we love you!
What Linda said honey. Do what you have to do and always know that you are very special to me. Big hug. ;)

Hi there!
I can imagine that no matter what mischief Katie and Zoe cause, you cannot help but melt once you see the expression of devotion and joy on their faces and in their eyes. They are very cute.
You do not need to apologize. You have enough to address with everything going on in your life right now and the memories the current situation with Jill may create. From what you have shared before, I understand that you are being the rock for others now. I do not know if you are familiar with the poem/story "Footsteps in the Sand." Just remember that our Lord and prayers are their beside you and to carry you.
Thank you for this post. Your dogs are a blast, and I appreciate knowing of Jill's progress.
Take care and peace.
