Our Hero is Enroute Home!!!

On the way to Camp Pendleton

"Graduation" Day

A MARINE!!!

Our grandson, Robby, is on his way home and will touch down in Oklahoma City tomorrow night to spend some time with his mom, dad, sister and niece - then they'll bring him to CA, where he'll be stationed at 29 Palms. They'll stop here in a couple of weeks, so we'll get to see first hand if he's put some meat on those bones!!!

We give thanks to God for bringing him safely through his tour in Iraq!

WOOHOO...yes, I am SHOUTING!!! Really good news that put a big smile on my face. He has gone from a cute guy to a handsome young man. I'm sure you'll see lots of changes in him...and can't wait to get your hands on him! What a blessing.

Big hugs...

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. And 29 Palms is not too far from where you are, I'm sure you'll be out there once a month for a nice visit!

Hi Ms. Gracie !

Congratulations and prayers of thanks for your grandson Robbie's safe return. Please give him a thank you for his sacrifice, commitment, and service. I imagine that all of you are excited for him to be stateside. Knowing your love for your family and him, I am not surprised if you are about to burst until you can see him and give him a big hug (the type of hug that only grandma's can give!).

Peace, hope, joy, and love to you and your family.

P.S. Oops, almost forgot - the photos you shared in your previous post of the Kern River environs are phenomenal. What a celebration of Spring!

Take care of yourself.

Semper Fi to your grandson, and a big "Praise God!" for Robby's safe return.

Now, please keep my nephew-in-law Shawn in your prayers; he's back in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army for the second time and will be there for about a year. He's already done one tour there and two tours in Iraq. :(
