I loved your TT. I love music as I was a music director (I picked the station's music) in broadcast radio. I learned much from your site. It's my first TT and thought I'd drop by and say "hi."

Both funny and scary at the same time. There is an obscure movie called "Trixie" starring Emily Watson as the title character. She plays an aspiring P.I. who for some reason never finished school (I can't remember why). Because of her lack of education, she uses mixed metaphors and malapropisms throughout the movie. There is a scene where a character is singing acapella and she refers to it as "Acapulco".

Another quick note! I saw that you have the book by Michael Horton "Putting Amazing Back In Grace!" That is one of my favs. I interviewed Michael some years back. One of my fav interviews!

I'm not sure whether those are funny or just sad. I guess funny if some of them were purposely trying to be clever.

But sad too, if this can be considered commentary on the state of musical education.

You have to admit, there is a grain of truth to #4!

Hi Gracie...this is my first visit to your blog, and I love what I see! I'll definitely be back to spend some more time. Thanks so much for commenting on mine!

With your grandsons in the military, no wonder you have a passion for supporting the troops. My brother was a Marine in Desert Storm, and recently spent time in Iraq training police officers. Once a Marine, always a Marine! I love our military and support them strongly.

Well, I didn't know any of that. Hope you had a wonderful TT. :)
