Photo Hunt - Strings
My hubman is a picker - he loves to play guitar. When I got TNChick's email letting us know the word for the week was strings, I immediately thought of a guitar. The question became, "Which one!" He has Fenders - Strats and Telecasters, and he has a couple of acoustics, too. But the one I chose is a beat-up, woe-begone instrument given to him by one of his aunts when his uncle died. It's not a very good guitar but gifts of the heart that come bearing family history become suddenly priceless...
I took several photos but these are my favorites.

Absolutely lovely and like you said, gifts from the heart do become priceless, don't they?
very nice gracie, I wish I had learned to play..... SARAH ROCKS.
That's a great idea for the "string" theme! I wish I could play a guitar. I am still trying to learn the toy piano.
These are terrific. Like the way you've chosen to capture these "strings" - so interesting. I found the theme to be a challenge. Nice job.
Love the garden photo,....... great choice. Have a good weekend.
I've always thought guitars were beautiful, not just as instruments but as pieces of art.
Hi Gracie. Great shots! I love how you made each one very unique and interesting.
Gifts of the heart are indeed the very best. What a great contribution for this weeks word. Have a great day sweetie. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
I didn't participate in the last photohunt but if I had I might have done something like this too. My husband is also a guitar player and every once in a while he plays in the garden and then rests his guitar against the roses or some other plant. I've taken photos of his guitar surrounded by lush plants and flowers and it's pretty cool looking. Love your photos - and the lighting!
