Just Don't Kick Sand in My Face, Okay?

I'm kinda feeling like the guy on the left...just erase me and let's start over!!! I lost a lot of body mass when I had my surgery and to tell the truth, I'm not real great at exercising. Since I've been home and not working it's gotten worse. I feel like a shadow of my former self - I have no muscle tone at all. I saw this cartoon and thought I could relate! I keep telling myself to just start walking a little at a time but I always find something else to do...Since I have a "diagnosis" of about five different syndromes for which there are no definitive tests, I get very tired quickly. I take great vitamins and all that but I'm just a slug! (Boy, I use w-a-y too many exclamation marks, don't I? It's just that you can't get the voice inflection right. I also ".... " too much. Sorry! Ooops. There I go again.).

I registered with Mister Linkys so I can participate in all the good stuff but at 1:00 a.m. I'm too much of a coward to start foolin' around with the templates and copying and pasting all of my stuff. I feel as though I'm in limbo because I'm not tech savvy. For those of you that have done it already, if you paste everything to your notepad, it's safe and all that? I am a chicken (a big one). Your photos and everything, too??? Can you tell I'm begging for reassurance that everything is going to be okay? Such a wuss am I. I just wanna come out and play with every body. I feel like the kid that's home with the chickenpox and is looking out the window at all the other kids playing.
I know you'll all pat me on the back and hold my hand and tell me I can do it. Right???

  • If it wasn't for muscle spasms, I wouldn't get any exercise at all

Ya, with my heart problems the past 5 or 6 years, I was told to get out and walk too! And I must say, I was good at it 'til it got really cold this winter....I've been psyching myself to get back to walking, but I can't seem to get back in the groove. I'm there with you on the exercise stuff.

And as for doing all the coding and working on your blog---adding things and such. I'd suggest that BEFORE you even begin to change things....SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL TEMPLATE as you have it now. That way, if you begin working and changing and adding....if there IS ERRORS....you have the original to use to copy and paste it BACK if need be.

You see, I use "....." way too much. LOL

Happy Monday

I'm also not keen on doing exercises. My husband is into sports and have been convincing me for the nth time to join him in badminton. I've agreed to join him and his friends but when I saw how good they were, I just came up with all sorts of excuses. Oh well, I wished blogging could be counted as an exercise. :)

I agree with Anni, it's always best to save your original template before tinkering with new codes. So that whatever happens, you'll always have a back-up.

Have a good week ahead.

I'm not a tech person. I have no idea how to use the stuff on the box in front of me. I just punch keys and hope it all comes out ok.
wish I had good advice about tech stuff...

I tell myself to walk to but end up reading. UNTIL I found out about books on CD and now I walk around to those.

maybe you just need a friend to walk with?

Any journey, no matter how long or far must begin with the first step. Once you get that first step out of the way, then you have certian, incontroverible proof that you CAN take a step. So the next one should be easier. Do not think about the 10th step. Just think about the next one. After a while they get easier.
ps. go swimming or do water aerobics. it is weasier on the body and will wear you down less while giving youthe excercise you need.

keep your chin up.

Exercise...is that a real word? Is it in the dictionary? If so what page is it on...so I can tear that sucker out!

Wow.. that top part could have been written by me almost as far as the feeling like a slug. For a long time I was thinking it was depression, but all the meds are straightened out now. I've been to my doc and he doesn't seem concerned about anything. But I'm just so TIRED all the time. I feel like a plug has been pulled and I'm draining away or something. Sheesh!

If you follow the Mr Linky instructions exactly as he says, you'll do fine :) Come on out and play!!!

I am sorry you have been so ill and are having a hard time recovering. You don't have to go out to do a little exercise just walk around the house, just do ten minutes or even five minutes at a time. It all adds up. I don't like walking on the ice in winter and I don't like walking where I will meet a bear in summer so I have been walking back and forth in my small home for over a year and I am not in great shape but better than lots I know. I generally get 1/2 hour walking in every day over and above the normal walking I do. Sometimes I put on real bouncy music with a great beat and that motivates me to move a little faster.
