Here's the Proof!
This was in my backyard today at 1:30 p.m., 112°. It's now 5:20 and the local weatherman reports that it reached 115° downtown. I believe it!!! And they say it's gonna get hotter yet.
Now I'm off to "The Wren Shop" to buy a new thermometer - this one was left by the previous owner...just a bit tacky and the crack is lovely.

Damn, woman, that is WAY too hot!! My friend in Stockton has said that it's miserable there, too. When I was talking to her last night at 9:00 it was still 102 outside. UGH!
Try to stay cool as best you can!

I think we've only been in the low 80's - very comfortable.
