Our Own Hero...

Anchors Aweigh...
You may have noticed on the left sidebar, I've added a badge with the name "Steven" on it. This is Steven, who left Tuesday for Virginia to attend Navy boot camp. He's my husband's oldest grandson and he couldn't be prouder of him. Granted, along with that pride goes some trepidation but we're trusting God to be with our boy and keep him safe.

This is proud papa, Steve, and step-mom Jill.
And come September, Sarge...we're sending off a new Marine!

Be sure he gets registered with eMailOurMilitary.org so we can support him properly! What a noble young man.

If you are feeling particularly charitable, stop by my blog and sponsor me tomorrow for Blogathon 2007. The charity I'm blogging for is Kiva.org.

Just know that I am praying for him in boot camp and for the entire family. I know exactly how y'all fell. God will be with him.

And you're send off a new Marine.. that's wonderful. I'll have letters from Matt by then, which I will be sharing, and can give him a heads up.
