Looking at the Sky on Friday
I know you guys in "rainsville" are sick of seeing gray skies! It's a treat for us, so much so that I took off the other afternoon in search of some sky shots. We live very close to the foothills and the storm clouds were very intense, with some lightening - which I love!
We're so accustomed to seeing palm trees and balmy blue skies. I like the contrast here, hope you do too!

Hi A. Grace, your sky doesn't look very friendly there! Happy Sky Looking, thank you for checking me out and for your nice comment. Sorry I got you thinking Mediterranean. It is a pretty place here.

BTW, been there, done that. Cutting our programs, closing parks, etc. was back when GWB was our governor. He cut taxes for the rich and big businesses. He ruined our state financially and then went to be the U.S. pres.

yeah sometimes we love contrast, nice capture of the gray and somewhat stormy sky, exciting sky i should say!
We will have lots of rain in New England today, yet I am as enthusiastic about today's precip so our potted tomatoes, peppers and beans need the hydration.
I suppose in arid California the rain is not an often occurrence. So i am happy for your gray skies as well!
I do love an interesting sky! I'm just a bit weary of the rain. This reminds me of Florida and hurricane season as the storm retreats.
me, i love a blue sky!

I'm loving the rain too Gracie, I'm just hoping that it isn't raining this evening when my granddaughter graduates HS. Just saying. Outside of that, let it rain.
Have a terrific day and weekend honey. Big hug. :)
I love gray skies!
those are some dramatic clouds you chased
I'm loving the cloudy skies here in So Cal too ... but I wish it would RAIN!!!
Hugs and blessings,
I love storm clouds and lightning, too. It's always nice to see something that you don't normally see.
We've had some cloudy days, too, but sadly - no rain.
On this D-Day, give thanks for the soldiers who gave all for us, I know you will....
That's an amazing sky. How cool is it that you have palm trees where you live!
Hope you got lots of rain!
