"A government big
enough to give you
everything you want,
is big enough to take
away everything you have."
Thomas Jefferson
This is the veteran's section of our local cemetery. It was a beautiful spring day, offset by the sorrow I felt knowing these men and women died fighting for us, in a less-than-perfect world. May honor always fall upon each and every one of these precious souls.

It does look like it was a beautiful day when you shot this picture.
I always forget how different cemeteries in California look compared to the East Coast.
I love the sentiment of your post... we owe our military past, present and future, so much! My flags are here.
