Manic Monday - YELLOW

I'm afraid I didn't do very well this week - sorry Mo! Yellow isn't my color but I thought of "Yellow Submarine;" Yellow as in "coward," but couldn't come up with a good idea and the ones I thought of I really didn't want on my computer; banana pudding; lemons; yellow-bellied sap-sucker (?); yellow M&M's and baby ducks. I finally hooked up my camera to my laptop so I thought I'd be original for a change - original photos, that is...

The chair belonged to my great-grandmother and is probably the ugliest color of yellow I've ever seen. I just got it from my brother. It's been stored in the garage for a couple of years and he was going to toss it. As soon as we can afford it, it will be lovingly reupholstered, maybe in a luscious caramel.

Every morning for the past five years, five months, (but who's counting?) I have made a protein shake for breakfast. What's a protein shake without a banana in it! I played around with some bananas on my counter top and used Kodak's editing tools (cartoon). I kind of like the effect...

I just ate a banana a bit ago. Just thought I would stop by and see what was going on with you this morning. I need to get off here and get busy. The vacuum is calling..Sandy

I was hoping someone would do either bananas or a yellow bellied sap-sucker for a post! You pictured one and mentioned the other!
I love the 'cartoon' function in photo imaging, and this one turned out great!
As for the chair, well, the lines are wonderful and classic. Please show us the pictures of the "after" re-upholstering, ok?
OH -- and your prayer plant behind the chair looks awesome! How do you get it looking so lush not near a window???
Thanks for participating in Manic Monday and for having such a clever post!
Cheers,
Manic Mo

I'm glad you said that chair was an ugly color...I didn't want to insult you. LOL! I think the new color will be much better.

The chair is lovely...colour..well....I bet when you can have it recoverd it will be wonderful...I have a rocking chair that is so comfortable but the fabric is a horrible shade of well.....lime green....yuck! But I know once it is recovered it will be wonderful...

Looking through your post...a fellower birder....I love birds...the blue heron is common where I live...we had some roasting not long ago...they can be noisy...I generally see them on the waters edge or in flight...until last week I saw one in a tree...then my hubby told me that is where they nest...I didn't realize that....amazing considering their size....

Thanks for dropping by my blog

Happy Monday!
