It's Raining - It's Pouring - Yipppeeeee!!!
To some of you, this may be a very boring post. To those of us in a drought area, it's thrilling!
We are breaking the record for a low for the day and it's raining!!! We haven't had measurable rain since May, and after experiencing several days of temperatures in the 100's, just to smell the sweet smell of rain is divine! Last week it was in the 90's. Today, it is 75. Yipppeeeee!
It is supposed to climb back up next week but after a reprieve, it will be a snap!

Hi Gracie, I wanted to come by and say sorry for not having been by a long time ago. For some reason your new posts haven't been showing up in my Google Reader since August. I should have figured you would have written something since then! Duh!!!
I promise to check back in more often, update in Google Reader or not!
oh yay you gracie!! we had such a dry summer this year in podunk i know what you mean about the sweet smell.

"They" have been talking drought here in Washington too. It's not the same as drought down in the California desert. Up here, they say drought when they get anything less than the average rainfall.
I'm glad you finally got some rain.
we had rain Friday night and all day Saturday...we need it too..not as much as you...but I welcomed it!
Gracie I hate our winter as it feels so long but I love the oitter patter of rain drops x x
