Too many days go by, feelin' like I haven't got a clue;Days I lie around the house, feelin' down and blue.
Then the dates on the calendar fly by way too fast,And then all of a sudden, 'nother birthday has gone past.

Great little Monday clue poem. It immediately reminded me of the old Carpenters song:
