Looking at the Sky on Friday

This is Lake Ming, just about five miles away. It's known for the speed boat races - obviously not because of the lush hillside! I know there's just a sliver of sky and as the summer progresses, the air is going to get foul and the sky will be gray. If I'm lucky, I may get some Thunderheads banked over the foothills.
We're definitely NOT know for our air quality. So, it looks like we're gonna have to make a few trips over to the beach so I can snag me some sky shots!
(It's supposed to be 101 degrees Sunday, which is really early in the season. Hopefully, we'll come down a few notches before the heat sets in for good.)

Now, y'all skeedaddle over to Crazy Working Mom for
"Looking at the Sky on Friday!"

Hi Gracie, well I can say it's pretty. The sky too!
I thought we were hot, getting into the 90s already, but you are overdoing it. :-)
Happy SkyLooking,

Very pretty shot. The landscape reminds me of a Sharpei puppy, all wrinkly ;-)

That's a beautiful picture. The hillside is cool.

We are lucky to get in the 60's here! Hope it cools down for you.

Thanks for sharing.

The banks of the river look as if they are almost organic - a sleeping camel, perhaps? A beautiful view of blue waters reflected from the blue sky above. Excellent!

I guess I should be thankful that there were no triple digits when I was out there as I know the hotter temps bring the crappier air.

I do love the hills in California, they look so completely different than the hills of other states. When Katherine and I were driving back to Stockton over Pacheco Pass, it was just beautiful and reminded me so much of what I loved about California when I lived there.

As for going to the Coast, there are so many worse things you could be doing!

The landscape is quite amazing. I live where farms and flatlands are king!

What a LOVELY crisp shot that almost LOOKS like a painting. I've not shared anything for Photo Hunt yet, but will return when I do. I did share skies at Happily Retired Gal and Critters at Small Reflections though.
Hugs and blessings,

This early heat is not pleasant, that's for sure. I'm looking forward to my beach vacation next week!
