Looking at the Sky on Friday

I guess this is cheating - there's more surf than sky! It's San Simeon which used to be a whaling village many moons ago. The infamous Hearst Castle is situated on top of a hill, directly to the left. I took a shot but with my cheap camera, it didn't turn out well. One of my favorite spots on the coast is Cambria. The view from the pier is looking back that way...

Have a terrific Friday - and please drop in and say
"hi" to Tish at Crazy Working Mom

I love your photos, if you stop by my place you will learn that I have disowned Matt Mann, he did a serious hit pice on me and for some stupid, probably drunk, he included you. I am sorry for that gracie.

These are both quite pretty, and the first one makes me want to go to the beach.

Beautiful honey. Nice part of the country for sure.

You are going to love Sarges' post. Let it rip honey. You've held your tongue too long.

Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. :)

Very beautiful. I like when the sky shots include some ground. :)

I've heard of Cambria many times but have never gotten there. Perhaps one of these days??

Any 'cheating' matters not. What is best about this vista is the magnificent Pacific sitting under mild temperatures and fair skies give us a western panorama that is stunning and beautiful!

Hi! You may have used a basic camera - but you captured the expanse of the beauty really well. Thanks for sharing the photographs.

I don't think anyone should own more toilets than they can clean themselves. But that's just me.
