Photo Hunt - Music

This is the hubman, playing his Ibanez guitar, which is modeled after a Gibson. I bought him a Gibson Les Paul Anniversary model for a wedding present but he traded it for a Fender Stratocaster, and no, I didn't mind.

He also has a beautiful guitar he made from hand with help from Doug, our SIL. We have so many guitars and amps I can't keep up with 'em. Notice the shirt?
He's self-taught, doesn't read music but listens to something and plays by ear. That's a blessing!
We both love music and a car trip involves time spent choosing which CD's to take!

Here's the link to TN Chick and a lot more Photo Hunt participants. Enjoy!

Love that shirt, it is so fitting. Thats fantastic that he can just pick up a tune and not read a note. Great photo and have a good weekend.

Playing by ear...WOW. That takes talent...you're lucky to have a guitar player in your home...my dad plays, but I don't live with him.

I am so envious of your hubby, I have always wanted to play but my fingers were never just cut out for it! Thank goodness Amanda has musical talent!

Y'all definitely need an Ipod with an adapter to use for your road trips.

I love being able to play random selections from my entire catalog so that I get rock or classical or 50's music or big band swing or anything else I might have.

Neither Pam nor I play any instruments, but we love music.

Great photo for the photo hunt! My dad is a self-taught guitar player but I don't think he's touched a guitar in years! I'm glad hubman is sticking with it.

My post is up!

How nice! A cool guitar and a perfect shirt to compliment it. It's remarkable that he is self taught. A natural gift.

It's wpnderful when a couple share the love for the same thing. Passion for good music is a lovely thing to share.
