What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?
It's been so many years ago, I forgot! Due to a neck injury, I've had to stay off of anything that jerks you around which is most of the ones I like! I love anything that goes FAST. I guess my favorite was Disney's Space Mountain - don't even know if it's still there...

How do you react in uncomfortable social situations?
I detest conflict of any type. If it was a misunderstanding, I'd try to mediate some sort of peace between the parties involved. If it was really uncomfortable, I'd leave. Life's too short to waste my time being uncomfortable.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics?
Definitely a 10! It may all be over my head, but it's one of my favorite things, whether it be political or religious in nature.

Approximately how many hours per week do you spend watching television?
Well, now it gets embarrassing! I'm home most all of the time, so the TV is on all of the time,
whether or not I'm actually watching it. I have a thing for "white noise." I guess it's a habit but if the TV's not on, the stereo is.

If I understand well, you don't like silence around you, lol ! I don't like any noise around me especially when I am busy at my computer.
I can work with noise but I have also learned to work without it. I don't have a television. :)

I like silence mostly or at least just a low murmer. Seems the older I get the more loud noise gets on my nervers LOL. I love your blog, and your very cute shitz zhu. I will come and visit often.

Now, I'm the exact opposite on the white noise. I'm home alone all day and there is NO television, and NO stereo/radio unless I decide to LISTEN to it. I guess I'm one of those "Silence is golden" type people! LOL!
My tv is on all day. I love hearing the voices in the background, but when I added up actual tv watching time...wow!!

I too hate confrontation. I will avoid it whenever possible. If I'm pushed into a corner my reaction is to kill it and move on. As far as the "flight or fight" syndrome I would rather flight than fight I suppose.
I'm much more solitary than social too. I'd much rather be alone fishing for trout on a mountain stream than at a party of any kind.

Space Mountain is definitely still there. They remodeled it last year - and it is very dark now, and faster than ever. I used to love it, but now I am unlikely to go back on it again !
You and I much alike. I bet if we were to meet, we'd have no problem getting along famously!
When i went to Disney in Japan last year, space Mountain was either closed for maintenance or just being built, I'm not sure which, but I was gutted that we couldn't go on it!

I know what you mean about white noise, I can't sleep in a room that is totally quiet so have one of those little gadgets that makes noise. I generally have it set for "thunderstorm" and I love it!
What's that?...What?...I can't hear, no I can't hear you...Turn that down this instant...
I love quietness, but with two young boys in the house it doesn't happen to often.
