Sunday Scenery

This would have been a good photo if the sky hadn't been so hazy. It's looking west at the Kern River last Friday. The river is really low this year. For all of you who are sick and tired of rain, please send it our way!

Please take a trip over to see Lee, at Tarheel Ramblings

On the contrary - the haze adds depth and modelling. I nice pic of a fine scene.

I agree with Aileni. Sometimes it's a good thing not to have a vivid blue sky, or fluffy clouds, which can distract from other elements of a photograph. In this case, there is so much detail to explore in the rocks, grass and other elements that the hazy sky is a benefit. This is a great image for Sunday Scenery. Thanks for sharing.
