Is it Fall Yet?

I am so through with summer. We had a break in the heat for a couple of days and it was wonderful! Days in the 80's in August - wow, what joy!
I've been sub par for a couple of weeks, and I think I may have slept 2 straight hours last night. I catnapped off and on today. (Lynne - I'm so sorry I didn't feel like chatting...)

Fall is my least favorite season of the year, but we watched some stupid movie on Lifetime yesterday, "Angels Fall," by Norah Roberts, and I may have to change my mind. It was a typical, you know what's going to happen next, type of movie, but the scenery was so gorgeous! It was supposed to be in Wyoming and it was fall. I could smell the smoke from chimney fires, and feel the crispness in the air. The colors in the mountains were cool, yet warm with the change of colors in the aspens.

Maybe fall will grow on me.

Fall is my second fave season, following spring. Our colors get absolutely, positively GORGEOUS here in the mountains of No. GA during both seasons. I am so ready for the cool weather.

Enjoy your day! Hugs...

Empress Bee cracks me up.

Spring is my favorite season. I don't mind summer since I'm a fair weather kind of gal. Fall is okay too, but winter I don't care for at all. It is supposed to cool down by the weekend again. Low 90s and for California that's pretty good for August.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

Fall has always been my favorite! The crisp air, the colors of the foliage and the smell of bonfires and fireplaces, apple pies, pumpkin pie and turkey dinners. OK, now I'm really homesick for New England!

I'm with Barb, Fall has always, always, always been my very favorite season even though I've heard people refer to as the 'season of death' as all of the foliage and what-not is dying prior to Winter. Still, the crisp air, the beautiful colors, the moderate temperatures, and the bounty of Thanksgiving just can't be beat in my book!

You need to come to New England in the Fall and you'll never ever dislike it again - honest!

I love fall, but you know, it doesn't arrive here until...oh...maybe November? You know the feeling, right?
