Photo Hunt - Fake

I do not like silk plants - but for hiding TV cords, as used here - or placed where nothing else will grow, or because I like bamboo and cannot get it to grow in the house - I have bought silk. Fake plants. My grandfather, the farmer, would be rolling over in his grave! (In case you're thinking, she's not hiding those cords very well, you're right! We haven't gotten the DVD hooked up yet so everything is still out from the wall!)

What a great idea, to use them for hiding cables!

I can't keep an indoor plant alive so this might be a solution . . . lol

Those are lovely fake plants! Both of my humans have black thumbs ;) so our only plants are fake ones!

pretty!! [I love the room screen behind the palm too!]

How clever. Boy, I had a tough time coming up with something fake. Y'all seem to make it look so easy for the theme.

Happy Hunting.

saves on the watering and they look good too

Silk flowers? I didn't know of those. Perhaps my cats would not shred/eat those so I could have some flowers finally?

What a great idea for hiding the loose cords. I like your fake plants. Nowadays they make them so real looking. Thanks for the visit.

Happy Saturday, Biker Betty :)

Not participating, but wanted to comment. I love the silks too. I do the same thing you do. Hide stuff with them. Have a great weekend Gracie and stay cool. :)

well, I think silk plants certainly have a place. And you're right - I can't have a date palm growing in my room (which has an Egyptian theme, naturally) but I can have a FAKE one!

I'm not a silk plant fan either, but my MIL bought me two for my living room, and I don't have the heart to get rid of them.

Nice plants! I tend to kill live ones, so I have to stick to silk. ;-) FAKE Photo Hunt

I do agree, I don't particularly like fake plants but they do serve a purpose and of course no need to water. Happy weekend.

I end up killing plants, so rather than waste I'll use silk plants and flowers for color accents.

I have to use the silk plants because the cats would try to chew and eat anything alive... some are poison for them and all would look ratty after one session with the cat!

They look real in the photos and what a good idea to hide the cables with something beautiful.

Sometimes a gal has to do what a gal has to do! And at least you don't have to remember to water the thing!
