Manic Monday - Drop

"Just Say Mo" and visit Manic Monday
Today's theme is "Drop" and the first thing that came to mind, besides my terminal klutziness, is the gut-wrenching drop of a roller coaster as it hits that first big drop. Just the apprehension is enough to make every pore of your body break out in sweat!

I adore roller coasters, but, sadly, I am no longer able to ride them. This looks like the one at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. They have incredible coasters - some of the best in the world.

There was a time, when I was younger, when I would have happily stood in line for hours to go on a ride like this but now I'm so afraid that the slightest jostle is going to throw my back into a panic so alas, I must pass on them. Too bad, there is something about a roller coaster that just brings back the kid in a person faster than you can fly down that first drop.

See? We brilliant minds DO think alike!

I love roller coasters and a bad back has now put me out of riding them. The son and grandson just returned from vacationing in California during which they road several modern coasters, but the highlight was the 80 year old wooden coaster "The Big Dipper" on the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

thanks for stopping by my new blog! I had to delete the old one because some random guy was leaving me dirty comments. :( I hated to get ride of it but... well he wouldn't leave me alone. So I thought it best.

I'm glad you saw my new blog though! I've added you to my blogroll! :)

Oh my goodness, I don't think I have the guts to try that but it would surely be one unforgettable experience.
