Feast One Hundred & Thirty Three

Appetizer

What does the color pink make you think of?

Pink reminds me of a baby's cheek, lipstick, flowers, and Pepto Bismol

Name something you thought you had lost, but later found.

My mom had an opal ring made for me with the small diamonds from her engagement ring. It was a Christmas gift. It had disappeared and I was frantic. I wore it every day and always left it in the same spot when I went to bed or washed dishes. I was discussing it with my husband, in tears, at which point my daughter, who was about four at the time, walked by and said, "Oh, I think I heard it fall into my purse!" She had been playing dress-up and had one of my old purses over her arm. She opened up the purse and pulled out my ring as if by magic! Little klepto...

What are you obsessed with?

What am I NOT obsessed with! The most pressing thing is selling our house!!!

Dessert

What kind of perfume or cologne do you like to wear?

I always get compliments when I wear "Pleasures," by Estee Lauder. I also like Philosophy's "Amazing Grace," (imagine that!) and "Pure Grace."

Your dessert...Yes "Imagine that"!! I have never heard of that before but it fits you quite well. Mine is up now also. I had to go to curves first...priorities first you know. Have a great weekend. Sandy

Good Friday morning, Gracie ! How are you today ?

How do you get the picture at the top of your Friday's Feast ??? I'd like to use it too, since it is from their website.

Glad you got your ring back ! Opals with diamonds are so pretty !

And baby pink roses, too ! They go well with the pink baby cheeks !

Not to be overly simplistic, Gracie, but the lower the price relative to the competition, the faster your house will sell...

It's not a fun fact in today's real estate market, but sometimes getting rid of something is less stressful than hanging on and having the pressure be non-ending...

We've had houses on our street sell in 2 weeks -- and others be on the market for 6 months or longer...

Blessings --

Hi Gracie. I find it amuzing how many of you are reminded of pepto bismol. :)

My mom also gave me a set of opal ring and earrings with small diamongs when I was in College. It's one of my favorite pieces of jewelry.

I'm glad that you found your opal ring. Your daughter must have loved playing the whole complete dress up game.

Thanks for sharing the story about the loss of your husband's wedding band (on my blog). Amazing how you found it on the very same trailer after a year of losing it. It's very funny how you pretended to stumble over it and "find" his ring in same camping area.

I hope that you can find a good buyer for your house soon.

I love Pleasures too. I love it so much I finished the whole bottle.
